Espresso Machine Repair Dubai

An espresso machine tells you when something's wrong, if you know what to look for. Shots that gush in ten seconds, a pressure gauge that never climbs, a steam wand that spits water, a group head that drips onto the tray: each points to a different part of the machine. Our espresso machine repair in Dubai starts by reading those signs on your own machine, in your own kitchen or café.

A technician comes to you, runs the machine and finds the fault before quoting. You approve the price, we repair it, and we pull shots and steam milk with your beans until the results are right. Diagnosis is free when you go ahead with the repair, and completed repairs carry a 1-month check warranty.

Which kind of espresso machine do you have?

Semi-automatic

You grind, dose and tamp, and the machine controls water and heat. Breville Barista Express and Bambino, Sage, Gaggia Classic and De'Longhi Dedica machines sit here. Most use a thermoblock or thermocoil, so faults centre on scale, pump pressure and the steam path.

Prosumer

Heat-exchanger and dual-boiler machines such as the Lelit Bianca, Elizabeth and Mara X or the Breville Dual Boiler, often with an E61 group. They're built to be serviced: gaskets, boiler scale, vacuum breakers and temperature settings are the usual work.

Bean-to-cup

Fully automatic machines from De'Longhi, Jura, Philips and Siemens grind, tamp and brew at a button press. They make espresso too, but their faults sit in the brew unit, grinder and milk system, so the repair approach is different again.

Espresso faults we fix most often

Low or unstable pressure

A gauge stuck low usually means a coarse grind, a hardened group gasket, scale in the pump or a sticking solenoid valve. A gauge that jumps around can point to a failing pump or an over-pressure valve set wrong. We test pump output and valve settings, then dial in the grind.

Temperature problems

Sour, thin shots suggest the water is too cool; bitter, harsh ones suggest it's too hot. We check the thermostat or PID, the element and, on single-boiler machines, how the machine recovers after steaming. An E61 group that hasn't heated through for 20 to 25 minutes gives the same sour taste, so we rule that out first.

Group head leaks and drips

Water escaping around the portafilter is almost always a worn gasket or a dirty shower screen. Dripping from the group after a shot often means a three-way valve that needs cleaning. Both are routine fixes, and a new gasket and screen make a noticeable difference to shot consistency.

Steam wand weak, wet or blocked

Milk dried inside the tip, scale in the steam boiler or a sticking valve all cut steam power. We clear the tip, service the valve and descale the steam side. Purging the wand for a second before and after each jug prevents most of this.

Grinder faults

Built-in grinders on machines like the Barista Express clog with oily dark roasts, and worn burrs give uneven grounds that no amount of tamping fixes. We clean the burrs and chute, check the motor and recalibrate. For separate grinders, see our coffee grinder repair and burr alignment service.

Repair or replace?

Most espresso machines are worth repairing. Pumps, gaskets, valves, elements and thermostats are replaceable parts, and on a prosumer machine nearly everything can be rebuilt. A Lelit or Breville Dual Boiler with a scaled boiler is a service job, not a write-off.

Replacement starts to make sense when an entry-level machine needs a new thermoblock or control board, because those parts can cost close to the machine itself. We give you the quote after diagnosis, compare it with a new equivalent, and tell you plainly if the repair isn't worth it. We use genuine parts when available and good compatible parts otherwise, and you always know which.

Brands and machines we repair

We regularly work on Breville espresso machines and their UK twins from Sage, prosumer Lelit machines and the classic Gaggia espresso range. Cafés and restaurants with multi-group machines should see our commercial espresso machine repair service, which covers La Cimbali and other commercial equipment.

Espresso Machine Repair FAQs

How much does espresso machine repair cost in Dubai?

add

It depends on the fault and the parts. A gasket and screen change costs far less than a pump or element, so we diagnose first and give you a clear quote before any work. Diagnosis is free when you go ahead with the repair.

Can you repair my espresso machine at home?

add

Yes, most repairs are done in your kitchen. Some jobs, such as a full boiler descale or a grinder rebuild, may need workshop time, and we explain that before collecting the machine.

Why does my espresso taste sour?

add

Usually the shot is running too fast or the water isn't hot enough. Try one step finer on the grind and give the machine its full warm-up time; if it stays sour, the thermostat or element may need checking.

How often should an espresso machine be serviced?

add

With daily home use, a yearly service is a good habit, with gasket changes every year or two. Descale when your machine's manual says to, and more often if you use unfiltered tap water.

Do you repair prosumer dual-boiler machines?

add

Yes, including Lelit, Breville Dual Boiler and E61-group machines. We handle boilers, valves, gaskets, pumps and temperature settings.
